I’m not the one to ever give up

I have to apologise firstly for the poor title for this blog post and secondly for the delay in this post. I have been literally driving myself mad over the past month working on this interactive piece for a Cross-media documentary, and to be honest it still hasn’t REALLY progressed that much however this is about as depressed i’m going to be in this blog. Anything concerning work.

I am thoroughly aware that in 10 minutes the whole nation will scream and cry of either joy or rage, and considering the last years of it taking place i’m pretty sure the U.K are up in the 90 percent Joy category when the X Factor final comes on tv.

What i don’t understand is how people automatically pick another person to follow when ones elliminated, in your mind do you think- actually i would buy her records over my idol who has just left. BUT HIS SOB STORY WAS SO GOOD. It’s all judged on the sob stories right? when Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol is played (poor Snow Patrol).

Anyway, it’s about the constant progression of the character in the competition and to be honest this year i can’t believe the public got goofy Stacie so far but there you go, Jedward were amazing i guess.

I’m not a fan of the outcome of this show, but i do find the show entertaining- that is to say- the famous people who perform over the actual contestants. It is the judges, or the people who choose the extra judges each year that makes me laugh. When Dani repeatedly asked the air ‘Is this a singing competition?’ whilst deciding who went, it made me laugh at the irony of the situation and the whole show.

So to conclude my blog,

My parents left me when i was 13 and now i’ve been brought up by a man who lives in a shed who only feeds me a grape an hour.

Good enough story to audition.
