Not extremely happy at the fact i had to wake up at 6 this morning, on my day off to go to consumer hell. Of course this is only if you detest shopping on a regular basis, be it for yourself or someone else. I normally prefer to pop into town to pick out an item for myself that i’ve been wanting for ages,  kind of satisfied and deserved thoughts go through your head as you take it to the counter. After your purchase, you do not open that bag till you get home, do not open the security protected label and observe the inlay, but wait till your in your bedroom and childishly excited.

I went to Bluewater today, imagine a piece of ground just blown to pieces underneath the ground- a sunken James Bond base pad made of steel and you are half way there. I didn’t actually mind going there at all, the fact that i’d been there with my ex when we were in a happy time, exactly a year ago did not help. Of course i’m a relatively strong person and decided that if we got up and got there before 9, the chaos of Christmas shopping wouldn’t be at all bad. If you’ve kinda guessed that this build up of talk results in -it was insanely annoying and stressful which thousands of people running and shoving into you creating the worse shopping experience ever. You would be correct and so would be my written intention.

My sleep last night did not do any justice to this trip. I just felt like a frazzled penguin and kinda waddled along looking at the many thousands of christmas lights that ironically were placed outside an enviromental friendly store containing solar powered products. (The lights were not, i can assure you- nothing solar powered could create that spotlight glow)

I did my shopping, and i figured that if i didn’t have any access to money at all my trip would have been a more pleasurable experience. Although i love to purchase gifts for other people i kinda feel its become too out of hand, like i’d rather have a happy life than a Nintendo Wii. That’s what i thought when i saw a girl hit her mum(on the leg, but still) for saying she couldn’t get one cause they were out of stock in Sutton high street the other day.

I did have a nice panini though.:)

I can’t wait to see what shopping in other countries is like. I also can’t wait to just get away from the U.K again. As much as i love London, i think i’m way too simple for it now.
